CHILLEX-14 is the latest innovation in the field of pungent mustard oil extraction. Main features of the machine are compact design, modern looks, higher capacity, hygiene, most economical, fully automized, hence optimizing pungent oil extraction at minimum overheads and space.

Comprising of screw press and feeder chamber of size 55 x 9 with screw worm, cone, cone collars, and all internal fittings, round chamber complete with cage bar and splitted into four parts.

Round Upper Kettle

Comprising of drive mechanism and side shafts of Dia. 1 Meter.

Cooling Jacket

Made of SS-304 duly insulated and set for chilled water circulation along with hose-pipe of standard make.

Why Chillex technology is best for mustard pungent oil extraction

pungency means ALLYL ISO-THIO CYANATE (Chemical term for pungency) should be in certain percentage in oil. Certain moisture and heat during the crushing are critical parameters for getting pungency in oil. These conditions activate the enzyme MYROSINASE present in mustard seed, which converts the GLUCOSINOLATES in the seed into ALLYL ISO-THIO CYANATE. This is an essential oil responsible for pungency in mustard oil. Ideally it should be approximately 0.27% as per market demand. Crushing System

If plant is equipped with appropriate rating solvent plant then we need to crush seed for six times only as shown in above figure. If not equipped with solvent plant then we need to crush seed 6 times to get desired level of oil in cake. In 6 crush system analysis rating will differ from above table, but cost wise, still it would be less than the traditional kolhu method. In such case residual oil in cake would be 9.5 to 10%
